When thinking about what is the natural diet for human one question may come to mind: Are we carnivores or herbivores?
Carnivores have claws to catch their prey and tear it with the help of their canines.
Herbivores have no claws nor canines.
Humans have no claws nor canines.
Carnivores have no skin pores, perspire through the tongue and cool themselves by panting.
Herbivores perspire through skin pores and cool themselves by sweating.
Humans perspire through skin pores, they do sweat, and they do not pant.
Carnivores have sharp front teeth (canines) for tearing, with no flat molar teeth for grinding.
Herbivores have no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding.
Humans have no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding.
Carnivores have intestinal tract that is about 3 times the length of their body so that rapidly decaying meat can pass through quickly; otherwise it will be very toxic for the body.
Herbivores have intestinal tract 10-12 times the length of their body since vegetarian food does not decay as quickly as meat and there will be no risk of toxicity.
We all know how quickly meat can decay and that means many toxins can be released in the body if meat stay longer in the digestive tract. See for yourself and keep an apple and a piece of meat outside the fridge and observe how long the apple can last before it will start getting spoiled compared to that piece of meat which will get spoiled quickly.
Humans have intestinal tract 10-12 times the length of their body.
Meat putrefies within 4 hours after consumption and the remnants cling to the walls of the intestines for 3-4 days or longer if the person is constipated.
Carnivores have strong stomach hydrochloric acid to digest meat
Herbivores have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of meat-eaters
Humans have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of meat-eaters
Carnivores have acid-based saliva with no enzyme ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Herbivores have alkaline-based saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains.
The alkaline saliva does not act properly on meat, while it is necessary to pre-digest grains, that is why chewing is very important part of digestion as digestion starts in the mouth even if herbivores have to swallow their food while grazing they would still need later to take the food up to the mouth and chew it again like how cows do. Carnivores can tear the flesh of their preys and swallow it as they have very strong acid in the stomach.
Humans have alkaline-based saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains.
By nature humans are Herbivores and not Carnivores. Otherwise we would not have so many crucial similarities with animals that are Herbivores.
If you have a car designed to work on gasoline but instead of filling it with gasoline you fill in with diesel; could you imagine how much trouble you would have with your car?!!
When we started feeding cows with the wrong food they got MAD!
Can you imagine how unnecessarily humans can suffer and are suffering very much when fed on wrong diet!
By restoring to nature and by observing the natural diet for humans a remarkable improvement in physical and mental health is noticed, and the disappearance of many common diseases is inevitable. Still not convinced? Why not to try out by yourself?!!
A quick test to check if humans are naturally Herbivores or Carnivores can be done by giving your baby an apple and a rabbit at the same time and see which one the baby will bring to its mouth! You might even remember how forced you were first time in your life to eat meat, and how much you did not like it until you got used to it and it became part of your diet.
If we are meat eaters by nature we would have been provided with a more fitting structure that is proper for carnivore diet. If you get hungry would you be able to eat a cow, chicken or rabbit unaided by external tools? Definitely not!!! And even after you get the help of external tools you will still need to do different processing on the flesh before you are able to eat it!
How Humans started eating meat?
So many years ago and during the last ice age conditions were so difficult that many species, animals and plants, disappeared. For humans, survival was a difficult task. The small animals which could survive became the food alternative for the prehistoric human being.
Thousands of years passed and meat became and unfortunately a basic staple food.
Were one to stop and think of what meat is, and what it was, it is doubtful if one could eat it. It is merely dead and decaying flesh – flesh from the body of an animal.… Only by the fact that hey are covered up, and their true nature concealed by cooking, and basting, and pickling, and peppering and salting can we eat them at all. If we were natural carnivorous animals, we should delight in bloodshed and gore of all kind! … We should eat our flesh warm and quivering – just as it comes from the cow!- Hereward Carrington, The Natural Food for Man, p. 160-161
